Accommodations/Layout:

Interior Finishes  Satin-varnished mahogany staving, bulkheads, mahogany cabintop frames, white fiberglass overhead, with solid teak cabin sole. Bronze hardware and light fixtures. Six Bronze opening port lights.

Salon   Two settee berths in main salon, each 6’-3” long. Settee seating berths with folding center table.

Berths   Berth cushions are currently light green

Galley   Small but effective galley starboard with new countertop, flatware storage, numerous storage spaces, stainless sink with foot-operated fresh water pump. Diesel Bristol Dickerson stove to port with chimney to Charley Noble through house top (currently being re-installed). Space for 50QT cooler to starboard, aft of galley sink.

Head   Pelican was just upgraded in spring 2017 with an Airhead Marina head forward (2017), ventilated through dorade vent on deck. These work as advertised – there is no smell in the boat. The expansive, heavy old head, with its hoses pumps, and (illegal overboard pump) valves was happily removed, making space for more effective anchor rode storage.

Lockers   Lockers forward of settee berths, near head, under settee storage full length of settees, and storage space aft and under the diesel stove; large shelf storage to port, and book/storage shelves port and starboard outboard of settees.

Electronics:

  • B&G Zeus2 7” chart plotter with connected SonarHub and Airmar B60 24degree transducer. Compatible with iPads on vessel network (2017)

  • Standard Horizon Explorer 1700   DSC VHF, MMSI registration (2016)

  • Chartplotter and VHF installed on swing mounts at companionway for ease of use and ease of storage

  • Airmar B60 24degree transducer installed starboard (2016)

  • Blue Marine electrical system, including new m-Series mini switch, below deck 12V DC socket and Mini OLED voltmeter, and DC 6 position breaker panel (2015-2017)

Safety Equipment:

  • Two manual fire extinguishers, one in galley, one at head (2013)

  • Johnson electric bilge pump (2015), and manual Whale Gusher in cockpit

  • Weems and Plath SOS Distress Electronic Flare (new 2017)
